We are always delighted to hear from people who have some free time to help us on the trolley or in our Shop. If you or a loved one has been cared for at Dorset County Hospital it is a good way of giving something back. Our volunteers are all ages; we have students who help at weekends and during school holidays. If you are 16 or over it is a good way to get some work experience. We also have students who are doing the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
We have a mixture of people who are recently retired, who are recovering from an illness, young mums, shift workers, people who have lost a partner and people who are new to the area. It is a great way to get to know people and give something back to the community at the same time.
I Want To Become a Volunteer
